5th Grader Mitchell Kee Chong competed in the National Field Archery Associated (NFAA) "The Vegas Shoot" held at the end of January in Las Vegas, NV.

Witness some of our 5th grade students channeling their inner scientists and artists as they hike through beautiful Moanalua Valley. In this Moanalua ahupua`a, they took biological surveys, identified different species, learned about watersheds and continued art lessons that were started in the classrooms.

On Thursday, January 28th, Hokulani Elementary School participated in a school-wide safety drill. This drill was one part of our efforts to ensure the safety of our children in the event of a multitude of emergency situations.

On their annual visit to Hokulani for a fire inspection, these firefighters provided an impromptu demonstration of their new firefighting techniques...and exemplifying community service!
