Hokulani will be offering Soy milk beginning on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. This is part of a pilot program through (SFSB) School Food Services Branch to offer a Non Dairy choice for students. As students go through the line during meals they can choose between the three types (White, Chocolate, or Soy). they can take it with their meal, or have it ala carte (by itself) with a charge of $1.00.

A fire started on the embankment of the stream, past Koali lot. 911 was called and HFD responded. Students who were at PE at the time were moved out of the park, back to campus, as a precaution. Luckily the breezes were blowing away from campus which means that the smoke headed away from us.The cause of the fire is still being investigated. UH safety team also responded to the situation.

Last Saturday, 10/20, a number of families, students, faculty and staff came together to help beautify our campus. We were greatly assisted by a contingent of volunteers from First Insurance sporting their green t-shirts. First Insurance also sponsored the lunch for all of the volunteers. We appreciate their spirit of support and are encouraged to see that service is valued and honored by the First Insurance family. Mahalo!

Thank you to Aikane for coordinating and encouraging families, faculty, and staff to participate in this year's Give Aloha Campaign. It was a mad rush at the end and made huge gains in a couple of weeks. That you so much for continuing to support Hokulani!
